Our geta shoe toy is for pooches ready to put uncomfortable footwear in its place! Ready for a history lesson? It's inspired by the traditional getas of feudal Japan, which designed to elevate the foot in an effort avoid ruining kimonos in puddles. They were probably designed for folks who didn't need arch support (just our uneducated guess). We've improved upon this classic by filling it with crinkle and a squeaker, creating multiple sources of sound to keep your dog engaged. The tough ballistic nylon strap is perfect for pups who love to tug or chew. Easy to grip and fun to squeak, it's it ideal for a game of fetch. We're going to be honest: they're also great for pretending that your hands are tiny feet.

Lucy is obsessed

This was the very first toy our Lucy got excited about when she joined our family. We’ve since purchased 5 (because she’s obsessed and over the course of 7 years she’s chewed through the edges on a few - but we’re still looking at these lasting about a year each for her FAVORITE toy, so I’m delighted with the longevity). Hoping they come back in stock soon, as 2 of the ones in rotation molded when they got shut in a locker on our boat that didn’t have good airflow. Now we know - keep the precious toys out of the locker of doom!

MY DOG'S FAVORITE TOY

My French Bulldog absolutely LOVES this sandal! He received it as a gift in his first ever BarkBox as a puppy and is obsessed with it. I have purchased at least 5 more and will continue to. So grateful for BarkBox selling these separately!

Surprisingly good

This toy has a solid squeaker in it, so if your dog enjoys a good squeaker toy, then this might be for them. It also has been rather resilient which is a big surprise as my corgi has a very high tendency to obliterate toys to get to their squeakers, only occasionally sparing a small number of toys. Yet this toy has been spared by her, while still seeing play.
