I came to this page specifically to purchase a spare, actually. Unfortunately there don't seem to be more large toys in stock, so I'll just write a review instead.
My dog is a destroyer of toys. I love him, but that's just who he is. Every month I internally cringe when handing him adorable Barkbox stuffies, knowing they'll soon be disemboweled and strewn all through my house. My other dog gets in on the fun, and they reduce their toys down to sad little hollowed out fabric scraps, which they still play with and tear into ever-smaller pieces.
I dont know what it is about the Rocket Pup, but it has remained completely intact for DAYS now, which is downright unheard of around here. My dog merrily squeaks the heck out of it, but for whatever reason that doesn't progress to then ripping it to shreds like he normally would. Admittedly the fabric is starting to look a little worse for wear, thanks to being in dog mouths constantly, but it's still totally recognizable, fully stuffed, and still squeaking.
This is despite the fact that a hyper German shepherd pup (about 60 lbs) and a strong coonhound/shepherd (90+ lbs) have been chewing it, catching it, playing tug of war with it, and slobbering all over it constantly since it was introduced into rotation.
I don't know what magical qualities Barkbox managed to imbue this toy with, but I really hope it's restocked soon. If you're considering purchasing one for your own pups, I hope you do, and that they love this thing as much…
