My Buddy is a 50# Basset Hound mix, very intense chewer (We also subscribe to BullyMakeBox ☺️). He loves the Lickin’ Kitchen Kit! In fact, he escaped the house this afternoon and the only way I could get him back into the house, or even get his attention was to squeak his kitchen kit toy! I don’t want my “caution” to be misunderstood because I am writing to underwrite your own caution that the use of toys should be supervised. And this toy is no exception. Buddy was busily chewing on the handle and I was sitting not too far from him. I heard him cough briefly, that got my attention, and I noticed that I couldn’t see any of the red handle. Assuming he had chewed off the handle, I looked around for it and saw that Buddy was pawing at his mouth. When I reached to take the toy from him, I saw that one side of the handle was chewed off but the other end was in his throat. The entire 16 inch length was lodged down his throat and he couldn’t get it out so I dragged it out. I then realized that I had taken a big chance leaving him alone with the toy while I picked up our grocery order. It won’t happen again. I recommend this toy with caution.
