We have an 18 month old Newfoundland (145 lbs). He chewed out the lenses and the rubber around the lenses in about 20 minutes. We have purchased other Super Chew Toys from Bark and they have held up much better then this toy.

We have two dogs: one elderly english bulldog (who's very gentle on her toys and doesn't destroy anything) and a one year old pit bull terrier mix. We gave the binoculars to our bulldog first, and I was surprised after a couple minutes of light chewing and then promptly falling asleep that she had left teeth marks in it... so was wary about durability from that alone. When our pit bull played with it, chunks started falling off the toy in less than a minute and we had to take it away. This is from less than 5 minutes combined play from both dogs. Our stuffed animals have longer play time than that with our pit bull... so this is bizarre. Not for super chewers at all. Disappointed.

First our dog (a pitbull mix) wasn't interested in this at all but when she had to have her knee replacement surgery I would only let her have toys she could chew on. We usually have good luck with these super chewer toys so I wasn't worried about her gnawing it. That was a mistake. She chewed through it in a matter of hours and I had to take it away. Mind you, she has had PLENTY of super chewer toys (the boo ball) that lasted months. Definitely not impressed.

This took our pittie about 3 days to demolish. She ate the black rubber parts, and then I had to confiscate the toy when she started trying to eat the yellow lens portion.

For our American Stafforshire, this toy wasn't strong enough. The black part of the binoculars broke apart after about 5 minutes of chewing. I would not recommend this for strong jawed breeds.
