Sturdy and tough. Well made.
I have 3 and am about to buy more. I use them for grocery shopping and to haul things back and forth from the house to our RV.
Bonus! These bags hold a lot and cut WAY down on those gazillion plastic grocery bags.
When grocery shopping, they can be loaded up with canned goods, all kinds of heavy stuff, and they hold up much better than the store's reusable bags. Heavy boxes of pasta don’t rip through the sides. The cashiers can really stuff them! Like that “lazy man load.” Fill each bag as much as possible to make fewer trips between my truck and the kitchen! The handles really hold up, too. I’ve not managed to tear any apart.
Bonus! The cashier ladies think they’re really cute.
When prepping for a camping trip, I drag all the groceries home, sort them into “camping” and regular, then refill the Toot bags and set them aside. When it’s time to pack the RV, I just haul the full bags out, and stow the goodies and the folded bags.
Bonus! The bags are 100% cotton. When they eventually wear out, or should happen to get lost, they are biodegradable.
When they’ve gotten dirty, I’ve thrown them in the washing machine. Don’t put them in the dryer! They shrink a bit and certainly don’t come out as crisp as when first purchased. Washing softens them. Hang to dry. If you want them to look neat and crisp, they could be ironed. I’ve not done that.
Overall, a great purchase. The only way they could be improved is if they were made of hemp.
