My granddaughter chose this toy for a rescue dog we had. He loved it! He was more of a playful pup, not a chewer. Then, we got a Great Dane puppy….. let’s just say slimer met his match. This toy did not last a day with a super chewer dog in the house. My granddaughter even loved this toy. It probs my lasted longer because they kept hiding it I. Their playroom. This toy is a rather large toy. It’s really cute & well made. I would recommend it, as long as your dog is not a destructive chewer. If so, skip this toy.

Sadie is a sassy 9-month-old Treeing Walker Coonhound, so she approaches toys with high energy and a hound's determination. Balltergeist was an immediate favorite—the crinkling makes her go wild—and it's a perfect tug-and-thrash toy, which is right up her alley. But he's not durable... he has a lil loop on the back of his head that my girl got ahold of. She had him ripped open in no time flat. He will undergo surgery today, please keep him in your thoughts. Durability aside, I would definitely recommend for a dog that isn't a determined hound, he's big and crinkly and she's had a ton of fun with him, so a great toy.

My Lab loved playing with this toy, but she managed to rip it open and completely destuff in about 1.5 days. She absolutely loved it and we'll play with the ball inside, though!

So far so good, not many toys hold up with our dog.

Engaging enough for my son to play day after day. There is also a hidden toy! Its very sturdy and made well.
