Pup In Your Grill

We are now on the waiting list to order 2 more of these grills!! Stella has had 4 since she first received it in her subscription service. Now, don't misunderstand about the quality of this. It's excellent and very well made. Stella works on eating 2 cooked breakfast sausages that have been sliced and tucked between the "grills", every morning. You take that many chews & teeth pulls and it's going to last about a year and then it's over. :):):) I now buy 2 at a time so I always have one. The one in the picture is about 7 months old.

Works great for peanut butter

I am not one to leave reviews but this is an essential part of my dog's daily routine. A bit of no salt chicken broth and water, freeze overnight, then a tiny bit of peanut butter and anxiety meds top the grill every morning. My dog sees me take this toy out and immediately runs to her kennel waiting for it. For a dog with separation anxiety, to make any part of my leaving routine something she looks forward to is absolutely amazing. I have two just in case one were to go missing because truly it is a must have.

I throw some liquid in (bone broth and goats milk), put a smelt and her pills on top with krill oil, then I top off with water and freeze.

I have a smaller pup who has short legs and cant really throw around most treat dispensing toys. He really enjoys just licking things out of the toys. We have tried quite a few of the toys and found they were either too shallow and has a big opening (so he could basically get his little tongue in there and clean it out in about 60 seconds) or had a hole at the bottom (which makes it really hard to fill with a liquid based filler). This one is deep without any holes so I can put a decent amount of stuff in there and it doesn't fall out. The wobbly based and grill part makes it harder for him to get the stuff out which is awesome!

If you need a trick to get a liquid in there or what kind of stuff to fill it with; I take peanut butter and add a little water until its a slightly thin paste (not thick but not runny) and put it in a ziplock bag, cut the tip off and then put the tip into the grill and squeeze it out. Same with baby food (make sure its pure without any weird ingredients), pure pumpkin, yogurt, etc.

Highly suggest this if you have a licker! I'm not sure how well treats would actually come out of it because of the wobble base and the flat top, it would either land flat on the ground or wobble and no treats would come out, but I suppose if your dog is big enough then he could pick it up and throw it around. My pup is a 15 pound chiweenie so he absolutely couldn't pick it up.
