Rupert the Jester Pup-Pet

I've had this toy since 2019(?), when I started fostering. It's been through SO MANY foster puppies and more than a couple adult dogs. It has been everyone's favorite and while it's a bit worse for wear, it is still kicking. I posted a video of the current foster playing with it, and an adopter of a previous foster let me know her pup started looking around for it 😆 Now we need a backup to prepare for the inevitable day it can squeak no more. On backorder? Fingers crossed the original Rupert can hang on. I will be devastated if it can't.

This toy is everything. Our Pickles is obsessed with it. As soon as you try to put the toy on your hand, her eyes glaze over and she becomes possessed. She puma jumps over to grab it with her paws. She's loved this toy since the barkbox was delivered years ago. I tried awhile back purchasing a new one as a backup, but there were not in stock. I saw they were back in and purchased 5, yes 5! She's only 3 so will have them for a long time to come. Best toy ever purchased.

My dogs all are obsessed with this toy. It crinkles, it squeaks, and its guaranteed mommy-puppy play time because it's a functional hand puppet! My rescue puppy that I took in at 4 weeks is in love with this toy to the point where he seeks it out and won't touch any other toy. He is now a year and 2 months old and the toy has seen better days (a jealous older brother rips it every time I sew it back together). Our boy still won't play with anything else. We are constantly refreshing this page to see if it's restocked to get him a new one! Please bring this family favorite back.

We got Puppet in a box of hand-me-down dog toys when we first brought home our Bichon puppy a year ago. A year on, this is still his all-time favorite toy. He drags this puppet EVERYWHERE as his comfort item and favorite way to play with his humans. Puppet has lost a lot of crinkle and has definitely shown a good amount of wear from hours of play. But, the squeaker is as strong as ever and is holding up strong. This is a great toy. We wish BarkShop would release more types of cute squeaky hand puppets for us to play with. :)
